cross browser shadows and fonts with css only

this is definitely off topic but it's something I just found out and find rather "surprising"..

I mean given that I even wrote my own Canvas solution for shadows and looked into various solution on howto use custom fonts this is really easy.
So I just wanted to let you know before trying to create/use a fancy script for shadows or custom fonts maybe just take a look and hopefully it will be way easier than you expected... :p

thanks for this dakmor. i've always been using cufon lately for my custom fonts. i guess i just have to get used to .eot file types if i want support for IE. :/ lol. or can IE support .ttf files too?

doh! argh, why do they have to make themselves "special" all the time? T_T... oh well, at least you've provided a font resource site which has .eot file types. but still... T_T...
