Spam attack

Postby daKmoR on Tue Jan 26, 2010 2:38 am

Due to an increasing amount of spam we may feel the need to delete all users with 0 posts and disable registration for a short period of time.
If you have such an 0 post account you wish to keep feel free to post something in the "Off-Topic" Section.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you but spam is something we can't tolerate.

Copy that, Dakmor. Trying to suppress the spam as much as i can. But yeah, it appears spam bots, i observe, are getting more and more active each day.

I reactivated the registration with a harder captcha.. hopefully this helps or registration will be a little longer off as I would need to implement some other security feature...

Thanks again - It's a shame that it had to be done, but totally understandable. Hope everything goes well going forward!
